Body Imaging

Roberto Medina, MD is fellowship trained in Body Imaging including all aspects of MRI, CT scan and ultrasound. Before joining Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center Imaging, Dr. Medina held a teaching position at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences and also served as a Radiology Attending at the George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C. 

Dr. Medina has served as the radiologist advisor during the American College of Radiology accreditation process for Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center Imaging, which earned the ACR Gold Standard of Accreditation in CT and Ultrasound. Currently, he oversees the Quality Assurance of CT scan and ultrasound for Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center Imaging, interacting constantly with the technologists and support personnel and striving for the highest standards in imaging.

Dr. Medina is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and an active member ofmany organizations including the American College of Radiology, the Radiological Society of America and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine.
